Doyon Associated, LLC (DAL) specializes in arctic pipeline construction and associated infrastructure.  DAL has an established presence in Alaska with offices in Fairbanks and Anchorage, and shop facilities in Fairbanks and Deadhorse/Prudhoe Bay.  DAL maintains contractor and business licenses with the State of Alaska.  A limited liability company formed in 2006, DAL is owned 51% by Doyon Oilfield Services, Inc., and 49% by Associated Pipe Line Contractors, Inc.

Doyon Oilfield Services, Inc. is a subsidiary of Doyon, Limited, an Alaska Native Regional Corporation established by the U.S. Congress under the terms of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971.  Doyon, Limited has more than 18,900 Alaska Native shareholders and is the largest private landowner in the State of Alaska, with more than 12.5 million acres of land.  Doyon, Limited has multiple subsidiaries in oil and gas services, government contracting, tourism, and natural resource development, with offices in Fairbanks and Anchorage, Alaska as well as in Washington and Virginia.

Associated Pipe Line Contractors, Inc. was founded in 1946 in Texas, with their corporate office currently located in Houston.  The experience of this organization includes major pipelines in over 43 states and 27 countries, completing over 25,000 miles of pipeline construction ranging from 4” to 48” in diameter, including 145 miles of the 48” Trans Alaska Pipeline.  Their expertise, long standing key management personnel, and many successful operations have contributed to their reputation as a leader in the pipeline construction industry.


This partnership provides extensive knowledge and collective experiences from multiple projects spanning many years, including valuable expertise on Alaska’s North Slope.  DAL has a proven track record for successful completion of projects under challenging conditions, while maintaining corporate commitment to quality production, workforce safety, and protection of the environment.  DAL’s efforts to continually improve North Slope construction efficiency have led to innovative implementation of unique solutions to problems affecting pipeline productivity in the extreme arctic environment.
